Built in 1829, this Gothic structure was originally designed to hold 250 inmates in solitary confinement.But at the height of its use, as many as 1,700 prisoners were crammed into the cells.It has since become a favorite destination for ghost hunters as well as the public ever since it was opened up for tours.However, not all the cells can be toured...Do you wonder why ?
The Queen Mary, Long Beach, California
According to many people who have worked on board or have visited it, this grand old ship is haunted. The supposedly most 'haunted' area of the ship is the engine room where a 17 year old sailor was crushed to death trying to escape a fire. visitors have also seen the 'ghost' of a lady in white in the area of what is now the front desk of the hotel.
The Myrtles Plantation, St Francisville, Louisiana
Built in 1796 by General David Bradford,this stately home is said to be haunted by several ghosts.
Some researchers say that as many as 10 murders have been committed in the home.

The Tower Of London may be one of the world's most famous and well preserved historical buildings, it is also said to be one of the most haunted.There have been dozens upon dozens of ghost sightings reported in and around the tower grounds.This is no surprise because of the scores of executions,murders and tortures that have taken place within its walls over that last 1,000 years.
